A documentary which deals with the theme of waste and the circular economy.
Associate Dean of Fashion Ricarda Bigolan thinks your outfit is hot trash. As a researcher of sustainability and circularity in the fashion sector, Ricarda’s program invites students to work with a wardrobe of post consumer waste to keep garments out of landfill. Given that Australian consumers only use their garments for an average of 7 wears, a major change needs to be started and echoed throughout the fashion industry. THE WARDROBE is a 5 minute documentary exploring the notions of garment waste while showcasing the ways we can fight waste alongside the future producers of fashion.
